One Response to “e4e Week 2 Keynote”

  1. I posit that social justice approach to gender equality and quality education has to occur at the United Nations level embedded into the fabric of human rights documents. Supported at the national level with educational development policy. Girls will achieve equality when national governments supported by all actors and sectors are working with the local cultural perspectives that are in agreement and realize the benefits to their community and their nation for gender equality and quality education. Equality for girls has to be ingrained in teacher training and building functional schools with ongoing teacher inservice training. The culture, power politics has to change at the local and national level before real progress can be made. The MDGs 2, 3 have to be admended to reword to state the importance of life long learning.
